“Hello! I’m Mrs. Hammond and I teach 5th grade Reading/ELA. This is my 16th year at WMAES. I have been teaching 5th grade for seven years and before that I taught Pre-K for nine years. My husband and I have two daughters (8 and 3 years old) who keep us busy! We enjoy taking walks, bowling, playing board games, and exploring local attractions. I also like to squeeze in some reading, especially while relaxing outside during the summer. One of the things I love the most about WMAES is the small town community feeling that we have with both students and staff. It definitely makes WMAES feel like our home away from home!”
