As students enter middle and high school at WMAES, academic expectations increase to match the opportunities ahead. Core studies in language arts, writing, math, social studies, and science intensify as teachers prepare students for the challenges of today and the expanding possibilities of tomorrow. The focus on becoming career- and college-ready begins on the first day of 6th grade and continues through graduation, with students engaging more deeply and rigorously with each subject.
As students progress, broader course offerings such as Spanish and Environmental Science are introduced, along with early exposure to high-school-level material. Teachers take time to identify each student’s strengths and areas for improvement, ensuring they not only master core curriculum but also receive the individualized support and resources needed to advance confidently.
WMAES offers a complete, well-rounded education that supports every student’s unique goals. Our hands-on, inquiry-driven approach equips students with the curiosity, confidence, and critical-thinking skills needed to thrive in college, career, and life.
At WMAES It’s about discovering passions, gaining independence, and building the skills needed to step confidently into what comes next.

By the time they graduate, WMAES students are exceptionally well prepared for college. Many even begin their college journey early through dual enrollment, Advanced Placement courses, college credit opportunities, and, in some cases, early graduation. Our goal is simple: when students leave WMAES, they are ready—not just for college, but for the world.
