Green Kids is West Michigan Academy of Environmental Science’s before and after school program designed specifically for PreK through 5th grade students. Each day, students enjoy a safe, structured environment that supports play, learning, and connection.
Students spend their time:
Exploring the outdoors
Using the technology lab
Working on homework
Rotating through stations and hands-on activities
To support age-appropriate experiences, students are grouped by grade level: PreK, Kindergarten & 1st, 2nd & 3rd, and 4th & 5th.
6:30 AM – 7:45 AM
3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Before: 6:30 AM – 7:45 AM
After: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
To ensure the safety and well-being of all students, pre-registration is required for Green Kids. Signing up helps us plan group sizes, staffing, and meet licensing regulations.
There is no penalty if your child does not attend on a day you reserved, but last-minute schedule changes may not be accommodated without advance notice.

After registering, families will be notified if:
