Back to school season is one of my favorite times of the year. The stores are stocked with supplies, teachers are decorating their classrooms, and families are soaking up the last few precious moments of summer.

As we gear up for a year full of learning, we want to emphasize that we are a school family that is committed to great academics and personal growth for each student. The team at WMAES is full of dedicated and dynamic teachers, support staff, instructional aides, custodians, food service workers and administrative staff who all work with students to achieve high academic and social standards. Together, we grow through challenges and celebrate our accomplishments.

We are celebrating our 27th year as a trusted public charter school, and what I love most about our school is our community. Every year, our families and staff become a united team with common goals and are dedicated to providing a safe community all while building character to prepare our students for life after WMAES.
